Abstract :
We present a new A/D modulator architecture Delta-Sigma-Delta (DSD) modulator which uses a delta modulator in combination with a sigma-delta modulator to generate an autoranging A/D converter. We analyze and derive the fundamental equations for this architecture. Our basic equations are confirmed via simulations and a fabricated chip
