Abstract :
This paper discusses the essentials of mobile commerce first, including: Location-based m-commerce services, Ringtones and other downloadable media, information based m-commerce services, Micro-payments and M-commerce industry groups. Secondly, this paper reviews the future potential of mobile commerce, including: potential of new transmission technologies, potential of wap and potential of location-specific applications.
