  • Abstract
In this paper, an motion-selective detector using the BJT-based silicon retina is proposed and implemented. The detector can implement the function of elementary motion flow detection through the suitable spatial connections of retina cells by delay elements. The measurement results of an experimental chip have verified the functions of motion detection with the selective direction of 0 degree and the selective velocity of 100 pixels/sec
