Abstract
Diabetes is a disease of concern, which affects vital organs of body. In order to prevent complications, frequent glucose measurement is necessary. This paper presents a possible methodology for noninvasive blood glucose measurement using photoacoustic (PA) method. Although encouraging results have been obtained using the developed system, certain other error sources like melanin content of skin, tissue and skin profiles, variation of blood flow due to pressure changes, should also be considered and investigated.
