Abstract :
Investigates a vehicular radar system that can measure the distance to, the relative speed of and the direction of arrival (DOA) of the reflected waves from multiple targets or vehicles using the direct-sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) technique. In particular, we examine the relationship between the number of multiple beams and the error probability of DOA estimation and investigate the relationship between the results of the distance estimation and the DOA estimation. Performance of the system is numerically evaluated using computer simulations in a multipath environment
