Abstract :
A kind of system which occurs in various problems in aerospace technology is studied. The twin lift system, where two helicopters are used to lift one load, is a special case. Because of the special structure of the system, the controllability, observability, stability and existence of decentralized fixed modes of such a system can be tested on matrices of lower order. The same conclusion is true for circulant composite systems
