A novel application of MSC-Pool in mobile communication core networks

The Mobile Switching Center (MSC)-Pool technology, described in 3GPP specifications, has been playing an important role in the construction and maintenance of mobile networks. With the MSC-Pool, the quality of network and customer´s satisfaction can be improved. Furthermore, the investment and operation cost can be reduced at the same time. However, how to improve the implementation of the above MSC-Pool over a large-scaled mobile communication network has not been discussed enough. Therefore, in this paper an analysis and related implementation of MSC-Pool over real network are carried out. The details on solution, network structure and performance have also been shown.
