            Abstract : 
This paper presents a real-time sensor-less ultrasound 3D motion estimation algorithm. The out-of-plane motion of the ultrasound probe could be obtained by the decorrelation of the speckle pattern in ultrasound b-scan frames. The algorithm uses SAD as the indication of decorrelation to obtain the motion of the frame. To improve the accuracy in scans of real-tissue, an adaptive curve correction method is also applied. The experiments show that it´s feasible and necessary for the adaptive curve correction method to be used in SAD based approach.
