Abstract :
Electromagnetic wave propagation in ocean water and the wind-generated ocean wave environment, including the mean period and wave length in a Neumann sea, are reviewed in order to derive the effects of ocean wave motion on carrier phase tracking. Carrier phase tracking performance of the second-order phase lock loop (PLL) and the sliding window phase estimator are presented
