Abstract :
This paper presents a new reference signal extraction method based on orthogonal decomposition of load current for active parallel conditioners. Using internal product of load current and unit vector of source voltage, active part of current will be calculated and then balanced. The method doesn´t affect by source voltage distortions and its proper operation is verified by simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
