Abstract
In this paper, four different architectures of a planar elliptical UWB dipole fed by a coplanar stripline are studied. The orientation of the ellipses of the dipoles varies between 0deg and 60deg. The characteristics of the antenna are analyzed in terms of directivity and fidelity of radiation. Dipoles for which the ellipses are rotated from their original position presented a constant radiation and a high fidelity factor on the +y direction; whereas the non-rotated dipole did not preserve the same radiation at high frequencies.
