Abstract :
In order to solve the problem of sensorless PMSM starting, according to the mathematical model of PMSM and electrical steady-state principle, an electrical steady-state model observer of PMSM is built, which is used to estimate the rotor position and speed at low speed in the starting of PMSM. The method in this paper can start the sensorless PMSM stably and has the advantages of low complexity, low starting current, smooth switching and high reliability. The correctness and effectiveness are verified by experiments.
