Abstract :
Highly-nonlinear, germano-silicate fibers can be integrated with femtosecond fiber lasers and generate octave-spanning supercontinuum at 1.5 mum. Post-processing the fibers with ultra-violet radiation allows for tailoring of the continuum properties for frequency metrology applications
