Abstract :
Patent evaluation is a multi-angle assessment system. Technology linkage is an important index in this system. By analyzing patents of medical endoscope and ultrasound therapy, especially the citation path of these patents, we got two types of technology linkages - citation tree and citation network. We found that in order to evaluate patent entirely, with different technology linkage, the evaluation method should be different. The conclusion is valuable to help for evaluating patent technology linkage entirely.
