Abstract :
MNC have gradually increased R&D investment to new emerging markets including China. The motives of the trend and mechanisms of knowledge spillover are studied based on theoretic review in this paper. As MNC usually affect the host countries by horizontal linkage and vertical linkage knowledge spillover, it shows different operation mode depending on different industries in China. Possible practical value of the study also discussed.
