Abstract :
The paper expounds the developing route and the main functional modules of Xiluodu-Guangdong Ice-coating Hazard Information System (XGIHIS).The main functional modules include the module of graphic processing, the module of ice-coating thickness calculation and ice-coating class division. Based on introducing the method by using to calculate the ice-coating thickness and class division, the study area were divided into 564 grids, and then the ice-coating thickness of every grid were calculated. Last, the ice-coating class was divided.
