Abstract :
This paper deals with the analysis of off line handwritten text from which some characteristics of the style are extracted. By use of a fractal approach, applied to the profiles of a text line, we have defined new parameters that gives the degree of loop on stroke for any writing. In the same way, the average leaning of a hand-written sentence has been reached
