  • Abstract
To overcome the difficulty in the identification of parameter of the water environmental system caused by the limited observation data with noise, a new method, namely inversion-optimization method, was suggested for determination of longitudinal dispersion coefficient in river. The method which based on one dimensional water quality model with instantaneous source, was validated by a test. The influences on parameter estimation of observation norse, instrument precision were discussed in detail. The computational results indicate that inversion-optimization method can give good precision inversion results for tracer test.
