Abstract :
In this paper, we design two types of microstrip array antenna for PCS and IMT-2000 base stations. A broadband antenna satisfying the performance requirement for both services is designed by utilizing the multi-layer structure. The bandwidth of a designed antenna for VSWR less than 1.3 is greater than 100 MHz for PCS and 300 MHz for IMT-2000. However, the method to improve the sidelobe level needs to be studied further
