Abstract
This paper describes the design, fabrication and characterization of planar microstrip antenna arrays for 77 GHz sensors applications. For the synthesis of the series-fed microstrip array antenna, a novel method is presented, which is based on the commonly used transmission line model. Different antenna types have been realized and characterized by measurements
