Abstract :
There are two different visual algorithms for volume data in three-dimensional space. The first class is that to geometric primitive such as surface and in-plane from three-dimensional space, and then to realize surface rendering with traditional computer graphics technology. The most common geometric primitive is in-plane, when we need to extract iso-surface from three-dimensional space is this case. There are many methods to construct iso-surface, and Marching Cubes is most representative. It came up with W.E Loren son, H.E and Cline in 1987. Because this principle of method is very easy and it´s easy to realize, so it is widely used at present.
