Abstract :
Chinese pine, Oriental Arborvitae and North China Larch are common conifer species, they are widely distributed, and becoming an important category forest resources in Beijing. This paper through the data collection, has made the preliminary statistics to the distribution of main Coniferous forest in Beijing, finally discovered that the whole city altogether has coniferous forest 176784.1354 ha, and Oriental Arborvitae is 87528.1587 ha, Chinese Pine is 79345.5380 ha, North China Larch is 9910.4387 ha, Altogether the accumulation of coniferous forest is 3015127.4 m3, and Oriental Arborvitae is 685071.3m3, Chinese Pine is 1935894.2 m3, North China Larch is 394161.9 m3. They mainly distributes in Miyun, Yanqing and so on 8 counties. Miyun, Yanqing, Huairou, Fang shan, Mentougou, Changping, the Pinggu and Haidian counties are the main distribution areas in Beijing, and the distribution of other country are very few. The stand structure of Beijing conifer forest is illogicality, too much plantation forest in area, but little in natural forest, and the strong density make the forest self-thinning.
