  • Abstract
    Railway transportation industry as a basic and pillar industry in the national economy, there is a clear correlation effect between the upstream and downstream industries. However, the research on the industry correlation and ripple effect of rail transportation industry is relatively scarce at present. Analyze the correlation effect by applying the industrial structure theory, analyze the ripple effect of railway transport on other industries by calculating the main indicators such as the direct consumption coefficient and the total consumption coefficient, the intermediate demand rate and the intermediate input rate, influence coefficient, sensitivity coefficient, then it can be objectively recognized that the railway transport play a played a fundamental role in national economy.
