Abstract :
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is one of the hottest research fields. In many protocols, the routing path which is get might be much longer than the optimal and some other protocols mightn´t capture battery status. We proposed the battery-aware modified depth-first search protocol to reduce the hops of the routing path and decrease discharging loss to lighten the consumption of the whole network and extend lifetime of the network. Our protocol might get a routing path with less hops than other existing protocols. In addition, our protocol can capture the battery status. The result shows that our protocol with less hops decrease discharging loss can prolong the surviving time of the network.
