Abstract
This paper focuses on a selection problems of mitigation of the voltage disturbance by of the Dynamic Voltage Restorers (DVRpsilas). In short form presented and discussed are the basis of different control strategies of the DVR. The main emphasis is placed on application of modern power electronic devices. Authors of this paper in particular occupy oneself with analysis of the power rating of the typically DVR topologies. These problems are according to authors very important, because it makes possible to find optimum configuration of the DVR and energy capacity of the additional sources power.
