Abstract :
Automated monitoring of high voltage circuit breaker (HVCB) is preference for cost saving in power utilities. In this paper, real-time data acquisition and remote transmission system is designed and implemented. LabVIEW is used for the management software in IPC, has powerful data processing capability, interface support and beautiful interface. The system has all the functions of sampling, measurement and communication. It can not only monitor on-line temperature, insulation, electric and mechanical parameters of HVCB, but communicate with other data acquisition devices and IPC. It is proved that the system has excellent ability of real-timing and high reliability by analyzing the results of field tests.
