Abstract :
The author derives necessary conditions which need to be satisfied by a controller which yields maximum disturbance rejection. These conditions are useful in the synthesis of the controller. The problem considered has connections with H∞ control theory. The novel features of the treatment is that time-varying systems are considered and that the control interval is infinite
