Abstract :
Discuss the effect mechanism of Chinese traditional values in college students´ occupational orientation. Achievement motivation is employed. Structural equation model is employed to analyze the relation among the three variables of traditional values, occupational orientation and achievement motivation, and deep analyze the relation among the dimensions of traditional values and occupational orientation. The survey was administered to 452 college students across the country. The result shows that the effects of traditional values do exist in occupational orientation and achievement motivation. Achievement motivation plays mediating effect between traditional values and occupational orientation, but the mediating effect is not stronger as the direct effect, and it also shows personal background characteristics have effect on some specific dimensions in traditional values.
