Abstract
We demonstrate a DC-voltage controlled optoelectronic delay-line for continuous tuning the relative delay-time of optical pulse-train generated from gain-switched laser diode. The maximum tuning delay-time can be up to 3.9 ns for pulses repeated at 500 MHz. Electro-optic sampling of high-frequency microwave signal by using the modified pulsed laser as novel optical source is reported
