Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new video encoding algorithm based compressive sensing theory. The video encoding framework combines the BSHE and GPSR algorithm. The number of samples needed in new encoding algorithm, which can be changed according to encoding mode, is smaller than in traditional method. Encoder works as a projector that project high dimensional signals to a low dimensional domain, while decoder works for the solution of an underdetermined system of equations. So decoder is more complex than encoder, and the process of decoding is no longer the inverse process of encoding. Compared with the traditional codec, the new codec is simple, although high compression ration and good quality of reconstructed video are obtained.
