Abstract :
The aim of this study is to demonstrate the relationship between the user´s walking speed and the data transmission speed in an indoor guidance system using fluorescent lights and a wireless LAN. A simulation formula is used to give out the direct relationship between the parameters. We simulated four angles (30deg-90deg) between the sensor and the horizontal direction. Three different walking speeds and four different data transmission speeds (1200 bps-9600 bps) were applied at all angles. Also we designed a series of experiments to validate the formula
