Abstract :
An efficient method, which combines the high-order impedance boundary condition (HOIBC) and fast multipole algorithm (FMA), is proposed for analysis of large ferrite-coated cylinder scattering problem. The accuracy and efficiency of the method is investigated. Numerical examples show that HOIBC-FMA has more advantage over hybrid finite element and FMA in CPU time and memory requirements
