Workshop on psychology of face and gesture recognition

This workshop will provide an overview of current research into how humans use faces, body postures and motion to recognize human activity and its social content. Additionally, we will focus on cutting edge research in brain imaging that reveals the brain processes underlying the recognition of face and gesture. These talks will highlight issues fundamental to recognizing face and gesture and thus encourage a dialogue between different approaches to understanding these complex signals.
