Abstract :
The use of linear oscillatory motor (LOM) is becoming more popular in applications such as compressor at present. A estimation method of mover position for the linear oscillatory motor with two separated stators was introduced. Based on equivalent mathematical model of the motor system, the expression of mover position was established. Then, this method was tested by corresponding experiment. The experimental results showed that the maximum steady-state error of estimated stroke is 0.45 mm. This method could be applied in the variable stroke control and top dead point control of directly driven compressor.
