  • Abstract
    The effect of the structure parameters on the band-gap character of a 2-D PBG structure is thoroughly discussed. This structure is firstly used to symmetrical microstrip line and good results are obtained. It is also applied to coplanar waveguide (CPW), but no obvious band-gap is found in this case
