Abstract :
The feasibility of using floating strips in the design of CPW filters is addressed in this paper. A 5% narrow band filter and a 50% wide band filter were designed and tested. The floating strips are directly located below the coupled-line sections. They are used to increase or decrease the coupling level so that both narrow and wide band filters can be designed with more flexibility
