Abstract :
In this paper recent results in self-scheduled H∞ control of linear parameter-varying systems are generalized to a certain class of nonlinear systems. The merits of this approach compared to standard practice in linear and nonlinear H∞-control are highlighted by use of a simple example. Application of this new design method to a chemical reactor control problem concludes the paper
