Abstract :
In this paper, the importance of rotor temperature monitoring of direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbine is explained, and the current development of the rotor temperature measurement is introduced. The design of rotor temperature measurement that we studied is proposed, and its feasibility is demonstrated. Finally, the future of temperature measurement technology applied to direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbine is presented.
