Abstract

Auction on the Websites, such as eBay, is common activity for most people; but the anonymity on the web is vulnerable to malicious participants who exploit possible cheating techniques. The paper, based on the notion of transitive trust; leads to a system where reputation values correspond to the left principal eigenvector of a matrix of normalized local trust value. In addition, the paper also proposes several new and suitable metrics for the auction in the viewpoints of social network.
