Abstract :
The paper aims at presenting the acute toxic effect of water-accommodated fractions (WAFS) of No.0 diesel oil on HOX1 gene of Hemicentrotus pulcherrimus by PCR-SSCP. The experiment was carried out with three concentrations(2mg/L, 5mg/L, 10mg/l). The results indicated that with the increase of exposure concentration and time, the probability of mutation increased. In the four primers, single base mutation took place in coding region of the 184 in primer N-2, with the conversion of T-C, where amino acid changed from serine into proline.
