Abstract :
The role of software has expanded from simply assisting business activities to managing and controlling its process. To that extent, mismanaged software can have fatal impact on working systems. This emphasizes how important the quality of software is. The purpose of this paper is to suggest ways to improve software processes, and therefore focuses on software process improvement models. This study suggests the methods to apply practical tools to meet the standard, and designs and materializes a software process improvement. Finally, this paper presents actual ways to utilize PSP and 6-Sigma tools to improve software process as process platform. The conceptual model, architecture and partial implementation of process platform are described.
