Abstract
A new control method using the deadbeat control and the repetitive control for the line current detection type active filter is proposed. Aiming at the periodicity of the harmonics, the repetitive control is applied to the harmonics compensation control and the deadbeat control is applied to the current regulator. The time leading is introduced to compensate a time delay due to the deadbeat control and a low pass filter. Performance of the harmonics compensation by the proposed scheme is much better improved than the conventional proportional control. A theoretical analysis and experimental results are presented in this paper.
