Abstract :
The current file download of events in protection equipment and fault recorders of energy transmission systems is a manual process carried out by analysts. This download is performed by remotely running the proprietary software of each system, which in turn sends requests and receives responses through a communication protocol. This paper presents an automated system for file download of events in protection equipment and fault recorders. Such system enables the file download through a software driver or through a driver of communication protocols.
