Abstract :
This paper collected soil samples on provincial highway of Qiting of Yixing City at the leeward of the wind to study the space diversity condition of soil heavy metal pollution at the side of the road traffic under the influence of traffic. The results shows that: (1) Contents of Pb and Cu in the farmland soil on both sides of transport road existed accumulative phenomena and they were affected by transportation significantly, while those of Ni and Zn were close to the local level, which meant the transportation has tiny effect on them; (2) Under the influence of road traffic, the distribution of Pb and Cu was ribbon heterogeneous, and that showed the extent of spatial autocorrelation was higher at the vertical direction of the highway than that along the highway; changes of Zn and Ni content in soil had little difference in all directions, and its distribution was isotropic.
