Abstract :
This paper demonstrates the need and usefulness of time frequency distributions (TFDs) in the analysis of auditory evoked potentials (AEPs). Various TFDs like the spectrogram, Wigner, Choi-Williams, Kirkwood-Rihaczek, Margenau-Hill are considered with emphasis on factors like computational cost, resolution, and cross-term content.
