Abstract :
A review of developing history and a study of the present situation of PID control and fuzzy control technology is given firstly, then the paper deals with the digital positional servo system and gives theoretical analyses of the conventional PID controller and fuzzy controller. It also analyses the influence that the parameters of the PID controller exert on a control system in dynamic state and steady state. In order to further improve the performance of the PID controller, we work out a method to tune the parameters of the PID controller by integrating fuzzy inference and producing a fuzzy parameters adaptive PID controller. The results of experiment show that the fuzzy controller structures have not only satisfactory control performance, but also effectiveness and applicability.
