Abstract :
We investigate the undetected error performance of several block codes in communication systems employing diversity. Using simulation we find experimental error processes for the diversity systems and from these we parameterize channel models based on Markov chains. From these Markov chains we can then determine the undetected error probabilities of linear block codes
