Cache prefetching adaptive policy based on access pattern

Different policies of cache and prefetching fit different access patterns. The paper introduces the research status of cache and prefetching technologies of a storage system. By analyzing the access pattern, the paper provides a module of access pattern and tests the cache and prefetching adaptive policy on RAID (redundant array of independent disk). The test proves that the adaptive policy can get an optimal performance of RAID under different conditions.
