Abstract :
The author explains the importance of VLSI technology to engineering and technology curricula and defines the subject of "mixed signal" VLSI. A recommendation is made to replace traditional electronic design courses with a course of study in mixed signal VLSI. A two-semester course of study followed by an optional semester elective is proposed. The proposed curriculum change can be accomplished without requiring any additional credits of the student
