Abstract :
In this paper, the author modifies the triangle rasterizationa and texture coordinate interpolation algorithm. The new algorithms reduce the time of triangle rasterization and texture coordinate interpolation. The proposed triangle rasterization based on edge function, and improved the efficiency with equal hardware resource. The proposed texture coordinate interpolation algorithm based the characteristics of lookup table. Compared with the previous texture coordinate interpolation algorithm, the proposed algorithm can reduce the execution time, and implement more easily.
